Homeownership Matters
Homeownership Matters is an advocacy focused grassroots campaign under the National Association of REALTORS®. They are a powerful voice in support of the American dream of homeownership and work to build strong communities and a vibrant business environment that benefits everyone. REALTORS® came to Adfero for a strategy to unite homeowners around their common values - turning neighbors into partners in advocacy.
National Homeownership Month
June is National Homeownership Month, and the National Association of REALTORS® wanted to launch a campaign that not only spoke to homeowners, but encouraged them to share their own personal journeys toward homeownership. Adfero introduced the #HomeownerHero social suite to celebrate homeowners victories, both large and small; from mowing the lawn, to voting for city council. I worked with my team to create four weeks of original creative content in both 2018 and 2019 that gave a shout out to these heroes from both the past and present. Our work reached millions of Americans, and hundreds of homeowners signed up to become advocates for Homeownership Matters, which made this past June NAR’s most successful Homeownership Month to date. Visit the Homeownership Month webpages for 2018 and 2019.

Video Graphics
Adfero has created many different pieces of exciting video content in collaboration with NAR to connect with the homeowner audience and promote Homeownership Matters’ objectives. I was the sole producer of the 2019 Homeownership Month promotional video and the Homeownership Matters advisory board video, which was made to show the board how successful the organization has grown to be in 2018. These videos have provided me with the opportunities to explore editing and production, as well as animation and creating graphics to incorporate within a video.
Midterm Elections
In November of 2018, the nation went to the polls for the midterm elections. NAR wanted to encourage homeowner to get out and vote, and also to consider how candidates and their policies will help promote homeownership in their states.
